The Cosmopolitan big party was by far the most attended and the most hunk-studded of all events in this Brrrr month of September. Where ever you look there's one muchacho flashing that oh so flirty smile. Seduction is the name of the game, and all boys were instructed to be on their friendly best - smile, tease, tempt and entice.

The night also proved that even in this Cosmopolitan hunkafest, the network war between ABS CBN and GMA was evident. Gerald Anderson, Ejay Falcon, Xian Lim and Mark Bautista was on the Lopez side with a truckload of fans working in their advantage. Joem Bascom was conspicuously a no-show. Over the other side, Aljur Abrenica, JC Tiusejo and Akihero Sato (by virtue of his participation in the Celebrity duets) was on the GMA side who brought also rah rah cheerers that was as boisterous and as wild as we expect them to be. By now you know who won by a landslide care of the applause and the shrieks that almost destroyed my eardrums.

Xian Lim was shocked to see an unexpected visitor in the audience- his mom. His initial reaction was melancholy... but being the trooper that he is ... instead of ruining the night he made it a point to shine. I saw Xian's reaction juxtaposed to the scene where his mother was standing to get a full view of him. Very cinematic!

Ejay Falcon wasn't brief to make "pa-cute gimmicks" to make a grand entrance. He was just there in the ramp doing the obligatory parade and a little kaway here and there. While the rest of the boys resorted to old but surefire show tricks to get the audience attention, Ejay opted to just be himself. He realized later, he could have made more tsunamis that just little waves ... and when he said "Babawi ako in the next round ... wala na palang next round ..."

Akihero Sato was quite a letdown, as he added some unwanted pounds here and there. Not a good move for somebody who has plans to enter showbiz. Aljur Abrenica looks buffed, and I was thinking he really has prepared to look good tonight ... and it shows. Boyish JC Tiusejo is a prime catch. His pearly set of teeth competes the attention of his body that is already seasoned in the gym.
